A popular Marathi TV, theater and film actress, Prajakta Mali started her professional career in acting since 2011. A trained dancer, Prajakta started learning Bharatnatyam since the age of seven. Having completed her graduation and Masters degree from Lalit Kala Kendra, the talented actress first faced the came when she was in school; she appeared in the TV series, Dholkichya Talawar, which was aired on DD Shahayadri and later starred in one of the episodes of Dum-Duma-Dum.
After working in the TV industry, she made her debut in a short film titled Gandhi, My Father (2011), before eventually making her foray into the commercial feature film industry. Some of her notable film credits include Kho-Kho (2013), Sangharsh (2014), and Hampi (2017), a Marathi romance directed by Prakash Kunte. His 2019 release includes Dokyala Shot, directed by Shivkumar Parthasarathy.
