Prasoon Joshi (Joshi) is a Indian lyricist, writer and artist born in Almora, Uttarakhand (India). Joshi is known for his work as a lyricist in movies like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Delhi 6 and Ghajini. His awards include National film award 2007-Best lyrics for the movie Taare Zameen Par and Film fare Awards 2006-Best Lyricist for the movie Fanaa. Joshi was honored with a Padma shri by the Government of India in the year 2015. His 2019 release includes Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.
