Salim Khan (Khan) is an Indian Hindi film actor and screenwriter born on November 24, 1935. Khan married twice, firstly in 1961 to Salma Khan and in 1981 to Helen, a famous Indian actor. Khan has four children Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan and Alvira Khan. Khan contributed in various hit Hindi films including Sarhaadi Lootera (1966), Teesri Manzil (1966) and Diwaana (1967). Later Khan started working as lyricist and writer with Javed Akhtar as Salim-Javed. Khan has also won the Star Guild Award (2014) for Lifetime Achievement.
