Shimit Amin (Amin) is an Indian Director. His work include Chak De India, Ab Tak Chhappan, The Reluctant Fundamentalist, etc. Amin is born in Kampala, Uganda but grew up in United States. He won several award for Chak De! India in the year 2008 including the Guild Award and IIFA Award for best director and Filmfare Critics Award for Best Film. He also won National Award in 2009 for Chak De! India for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.
