With over 150 movies to his credit, Siddhanta Mohapatra is a well-known face in the Odia film industry apart from being a politician. Before stepping foot in the industry, Siddhanta completed a master`s degree from the Institute of Marketing and Management, Delhi. In the early 1990s, he made his debut and has movies like Suna Panjuri, Nari Bi Pindhipare Rakta Sindura, Sasu Hathakadi Bhauja Bedi, Rakata Chinhichhi Nijara Kie, Pua Mora Jagata Jita, and Bahudibe Mo Jaga Balia to his credit. In 2009, he contested the election from Behrampur, winning the election. He was re-elected in the 2014 elections, retaining his seat. Despite taking to politics, Siddhanta continued to be a part of movies and has appeared in movies like Aseema: Beyond Boundaries, 143 - I Love You, Akhire Akhire, Ganja Ladhei, Raghupati Raghaba Rajaram, and Mu Khanti Odia Jhia.
