One of the most popular actors in mainstream television and cinema, Sophia Bush made her debut in 2002 with the popular film National Lampoon's Van Wilder, opposite Ryan Reynolds. Following this, she featured in Nip/Tuck, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and the HBO film, Point of Origin. Her mainstream popularity reached its zenith when she was cast as Brooke Davis in the television series One Tree Hill (2003). She became the spokesperson for a lot of high profile brands and also donned the director's cap for three episodes of One Tree Hill including the finale of Season 9. In 2006, she starred in John Tucker Must Die and moved on to appear in films like The Hitcher (2007), the independent film The Narrows (2008) as well as sitcoms like Partners (2012) and Chicago Fire before lending her voice to The Incredibles 2 (2018).
