Upen Patel is a British-Indian model and actor, who entered the world of glamour by modeling in London. He won a Super Model Contest and came into the limelight in the fashion industry. He was awarded as the most stylish male by MTV India. Patel made his feature film debut with 36 China Town (2006) and won the IIFA Best Debut (Male). He then starred in the super hit Namaste London (2007) alongside Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar. Following this, he appeared in films like Shakalaka Boom Boom (2007), Money Hai Toh Honey Hai (2008), One Two Three (2008) and Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani (2009). Patel was a part of Bigg Boss Season 8 as a contestant (2014) and was also seen in Nach Baliye 7 with Karishma Tanna. He made his debut in the Tamil film industry, with the movie I. Patel`s 2017 release includes the Hindi film Ek Haseena Thi Ek Deewana Tha. Directed by Suneel Darshan, the movie co-stars Shiv Darshan and Natasha Fernandez in the lead. His 2019 release includes Boomerang.
