An architect by degree and a director by choice, Vi Anand started his career by first assisting director AR Murugadoss, following which he made his directorial debut in 2014 with the Telugu movie Hrudayam Ekkada Unnadi, The same year, he also made his Kollywood debut by directing the sci-fi drama Appuchi Gramam. Among his other directorial credits are Tiger, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada, and Okka Kshanam. His 2020 release includes Disco Raja.
