Vincente Minnelli (Lester Anthony Minnelli) was an Americanstage and a film director. He directed his first movie in 1943 namely Cabin in the Sky and after that Minnelli directed more than 30 films. Some of his notable films are The Sandpiper, Goodbye Charlie and An American in Paris. Minnelli won an Oscar in 1959 for Best Director and he has also been awarded with the DGA Award for his work in Gigi. He directed his last film in 1976 namely A Matter of Time.
