Wajid Ali was an Indian music director and singer born on July 10, 1967 in Mumbai, Maharashtra (India). He made his debut with Sohail Khan`s Pyar Kiya to Darna Kya in 1998. Along with his brother Sajid Khan, he went on to gain fame as part of the music director duo Sajid-Wajid. They composed music for films such as Housefull 2 (2012), Rowdy Rathore (2012), Main Tera Hero (2014), Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3 (2016), and the Dabangg movie series. Among numerous awards and accolades, Wajid Ali won the Filmfare Award for Best Music Director for the movie Dabangg (2010). In June 2020, he passed away.
