About the movie
Anwar is a fun loving teenager who has a doting mother Chandana. Chandana`s in laws are devout Hindus. Chandana`s sister in law is in love with a dashing Punjabi who has business interests. The story is set in contemporary `upper middle class` India and takes the viewer through a fast paced narrative that pans rural and urban locales with an emotional content that is both intense and touching. Songs by Chandrabindoo and Somlata and Pandit Rashid Khan`s rendition of Raga Yaman are superb. Flawless background score by Indradeep and stalwart Barun Mukherjee`s superb photography have taken the movie to an incredible level of excellence.
