About the movie
Based on two teenage novels, and inspired by the 80`s cult movie Sixteen Candles, Gurinder Chadha`s comedy flick is about how a 14-year old (Georgia Groome), who comes to terms with growing up, dating, and a whole lot of related issues. Set to celebrate her 15th birthday in style, the Eastbourne girl tries to get a boyfriend and parents approval, among other things on the list.
