Media Magnate Nari Hira`s `Bhram` is based on the life of columnist Shobha De. In fact, Shobha De was a protg of Nari Hira, who gave her a break as the editor of the film magazine Stardust. Bhavna Iyer, who has written the story of `Bhram`, was also the editor of Stardust and therefore was in the know-how of the in and out of spicy journalism.
The character of Deepshikha in the film is called `Sunita` who is a page 3 journalist by profession, and thrives on writing spicy news of the rich and famous. She is perpetually on the lookout for controversies. She is all out to expose Milind Soman, who plays an investment banker, and destroy his reputation.
