Pratap Mukherjee is a retired officer. The film starts with the preparation of the Durga puja event at Mukherjee`s villa. Chandrima who is the daughter in law of Pratap Mukherjee, is about to expand their family business. She is a widow and mother of two young ladies Rajani & Sinjini.
From Bangladesh, Samsher (friend) has came to their house to attend the Durga Puja celebration. Mansur meets Sinjini a Brahman girl and falls in love at first sight, but Manager Chakladar has a plan to spoil the venture.
