About the movie
December 1 begins in the village of Basuapura, where Madevappa lives with his wife, his school-going son, infant daughter and his aged mother. Theirs is a hand-to-mouth existence, but they have gotten used to it. The whole village is gearing up for the chief minister`s visit. He is scheduled to stay at Madevappa`s house, which brings them attention and a higher status. They look forward to the event with all the zeal and enthusiasm. Whether the CM will help Madevappa`s family or not, however, remains unknown.
