About the movie
The story highlights the bond between Shivu (Shivarajkumar) and his sister Lakshmi (Meera Jasmine). Circumstances force Lakshmi to marry Shekhar (Suraj), son of village head Veerabhadragowda (Avinash), in whose house Shivu works as a dependable servant. The marriage does not go well as other family members value money more than relationships.
