About the movie
Set in the backdrop of the India-Pakistan partition in 1949, the movie tells a love story between people of opposite factions. Gian Singh (Jimmy Mistry) and Naseem (Kristin Kreuk) fall in love with each other but are caught in the aftermath of violence and rage that separates the countries. Naseem gains acceptance in Gian`s Sikh village, but Naseem`s Muslim family have a bitter tale to tell on the other side of the border. Will their love stand strong in the face of trials?
