About the movie
In 1664, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur ji was anointed as the Ninth Light of Guru Nanak. At the time, Emperor Aurangzeb ruled India and sought to forcibly convert the nation into Dar-ul-Islam. The oppressed Brahmins, led by Kripa Ram, turned to Guru Tegh Bahadur ji for help. Moved by their plight, the Guru agreed to represent their cause, accompanied by his devoted disciples Bhai Mati Das, Bhai Dayal Das and Bhai Sati Das.
What followed became a turning point in Indian history, a timeless symbol of dharma, truth, the defence of religious freedom and human rights.
