About the movie
Despite being poor, Appukkuttan`s father wanted to educate him. Appukuttan appears for his IAS exams and while he`s awaiting his results, his father falls ill. A large sum is needed to save his father as an emergency operation is required. Even selling their property won`t be enough and Appukkuttan desperately steals the statue of a deity from the temple in their village. What happens? Does Appukkuttan get caught? Was his theft justified?
