About the movie
Based on the novel, Machiwala Budha, by Gopal Nilkanth Dandekar, the movie chronicles the life of a 50 something man, who deserts his urban lifestyle to go to his homeland, Rajmachi. A hilly area in the Western Ghats, it’s a difficult terrain with no traces of humans. Isolated with the materialistic world, he finds solace and love in the lap of nature. His connection with nature leads to him conversing with the flora and fauna around him. Over the period of time, he comes to terms with the selflessness of nature, feeling blessed about the life he is living. He relishes each and every moment and delivers a divine message about a beautiful relation between mankind and nature.
