About the movie
`Onbathu Rupai Nottu` is inspired by Director Thangar`s very own novel. In `Onbathu Rupai Nottu` he throws light on the need to take care of our elders. Sathyaraj plays the pivotal role of Madhava Padayachi. Former National award winning actress, Archana plays his wife along with Nasser and Rohini who contribute to important roles. It is ideally a story of an elderly coupe left uncared by their kith and kin. The film revolves around three different periods. The narration begins in 1972 and an ends in 2007.
