SYNOPSIS
Prabho Shivaji Raje is an animated historical drama based on the life and times of the legendary Maratha warrior, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja. The film is an ode to the king who through his military genius took on the might of the Moghuls and freed his land from their tyrannical rule of more than 350 years. And yet history remembers him as much for his heroism as it does for his sense of justice and equality of his subjects, irrespective of class or religion.

The Nilesh Muley directorial is the first Marathi animation feature on this topic to release. So, despite being a 2D animation feature in the time of 3D animations, Prabho Shivaji Raja the team of the Prabho Shivaji Raja eserves full marks for trying. Moreover, it has voice overs from established actors, including Umesh Kamat, Sachin Khedekar and Avinash Narkar. But those are almost all the good things about this film.
