The Strangers
About the movie
The Strangers opens with a narrative about how the story bears resemblance to actual events. Kristen McKay (Liv Tyler) and James Hoyt (Scott Speedman) see strange happenings in Hoyt's summer house. All hell breaks loose when masked intruders prevent the two to leave the house. Writer/director Bryan Bertino is said to have been inspired by the Manson family murders that rocked USA in 1969.
