Born and raised in New York, Liv Tyler started her career in modeling at the age of 14. She always had a passion for acting and later decided to focus on building a career in acting. She made her debut as an actress in 1994 with the film Silent Fall. Her performance was loved by many and later she went on to achieve critical recognition with roles in Heavy (1995), Empire Records (1995), That Thing You Do! (1996), and Stealing Beauty (1996).

After the success of Lord of the Rings, Tyler was seen in a variety of roles including films like Jersey Girl (2004), Lonesome Jim (2005), Reign Over Me (2007), The Strangers, The Incredible Hulk (2008), Super (2010), Space Station 76 (2014), and Wildling (2018). Liv`s other projects include Ad Astra.

She has also served as a United Nations Children`s Fund (UNICEF) Goodwill Ambassador for the United States since 2003, and as a spokesperson for Givenchy`s line of perfume and cosmetics.
