About the movie
Marimuthu Nadar seeks to marry off his daughter Saroja to an educated young man, Loganathan. Tricked by Marimuthu, Loganathan thinks that Ulagammai, who accompanies Saroja, is the bride and starts liking her. When Ulagammai reveals the truth, Loganathan rejects Saroja, causing chaos.
