About the movie
The story is told through the protagonist Murukesan (Pasupathy) who recalls his childhood in a village near Virudhanagar. Murukesan dotes on his younger brother, Kathir; and his weakness, like any other adolescent, is love for movies. One day, when his father catches him bunking school and watching a movie, he punishes Murukesan, at which Murukesan runs away from house with all the money and jewels. However, he returns after 20 years and is welcomed by his younger brother with open arms. This only outs him in emotional spot, for, he begins to feel guilty about running away.
