About the movie
Kirpaan is the story of the personal journey of Beeru - a young college going lad from Punjab. Beeru lives a carefree and purposeless life, and eventually disappoints his parents and also loses the love of his life due to his attitude.
Beeru's grandfather had been a victim of racism which eventually led him to murder a race supremacist and that led him to be arrested and hanged till death. The grandfather died protecting the family's honour which was an ancestral historical Sword.
This story makes Beeru find purpose in his life again by regaining his family honour - securing the Sword which was enclosed in a museum.
