Born on June 30, 1988, Adil El Arbi is a Belgian film and television director and writer. He, along with his writing compadre Bilall Fallah, with whom he also went to film school, is known for writing and directing feature films like Image (2014), Black (2015), and Patser/Gangsta (2018). His other notable work includes the 2011 Belgian short film "Broeders" about two young men living in the same neighborhood but following conflicting paths, with one being a religious youth worker and the other being a frivolous drug dealer. The film had Werner De Smedt, Moraad El Kasmi, and Manou Kersting doing prominent roles.

He won the popular Belgian TV quiz De Slimste Mens Ter Wereld in the year 2014. He, along with Bilall Fallah is credited with directing the first two episodes of the TV series Snowfall, which aired on July 5 and July 12 in 2017. The two also directed Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike`s music video "When I Grow Up", which featured American rapper, Wiz Khalifa. In 2019, they wrote and directed the film `Bad Boys For Life` starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in lead roles. The duo then directed Bad Boys: Ride or Die (2024).
