Aindrita Ray is an Indian film actress who has carved her niche in the South Indian entertainment industry with films like Manasaare

The actress was born on April 4, 1985, in Udaipur, Rajasthan to father A.K Ray, a retired dentist from the Indian Air Force and mother Sunita Ray, a child psychologist. Her childhood was spent in Rajasthan and she moved across various towns in India while growing up due to her father`s transferable job. The family finally settled in Bangalore where Aindrita completed her higher studies at Baldwin High School. She then completed her graduation from Dr. B R Ambedkar Dental College, Bangalore. While in college, Aindrita started part-time modeling and appearing in commercials.
The sandalwood actress has been rumored to be involved with the actor Diganth
. It is believed that their love blossomed on the sets of the film Manasaare
and they have been spotted together on various occasions thereafter. After years of denying the rumors of their relationship and mentioning that they were just friends, in 2012, Diganth finally admitted being in a relationship with Aindrita on a television talk show and mentioned that the couple would be soon getting married.
