Allu Sirish is a popular Indian film actor who primarily works in the Telugu film industry. The handsome actor started acting at a young age and after having made his debut as a child artist in the Tamil film Mayabazar (1995), he made his debut as the lead actor in Gouravam (2013).

Early Life
Born in Chennai, Allu Sirish is the elder son of Allu Aravind, a producer in the Telugu film industry and Nirmala Allu, a homemaker. Sirish has a younger brother named Allu Arjun who is also a famous actor in Telugu cinema. The actor studied at the PSBB Higher Secondary School in Chennai until his 9th Standard before moving to Hyderabad during his 10th. After completing school, Sirish pursued his gradation in Mass Communication from R. D. National College. While he was still in college, he receive several film offers, however, he rejected to concentrate on studies and attain his degree.

While growing up, Allu Sirish had no plans to become and actor but coming from an influential family in Telugu cinema, he invariably entered the film industry. Before making his debut in a lead role, Sirish underwent acting training at the Kreating Characters Institute, Mumbai as well as took training in martial arts.

Movie Career
Allu Sirish made his acting debut as a child artist with the Tamil film Mayabazar (1995). The comedy-horror film directed by Keyaar also features Ramki and Urvashi in the lead roles. Eight years after his debut film, the actor made his debut in a lead role with Gouravam (2013), a Telugu-Tamil bilingual film which was directed by Radha Mohan. The film co-starring Yami Gautam, Harish Uthaman and Prakash Raj deals with the subject of honor killing, upon release received mixed critical reviews from the audience and fared well at the box office.

In his solitary release of 2014, the actor collaborated with director Maruthi for the comedy-drama Kotha Janta, which received highly positive response from the critics and emerged to be a commercial hit. His 2017 release includes the Malayalam-language war drama 1971: Beyond Borders directed by Major Ravi. The film, which marks Sirish`s debut in the Malayalam film industry also stars Mohanlal, Aurnoday Singh and Renji Panicker in the lead roles.
