With a heavy Austrian accent, muscular physique and a deep resonant voice, the Austrian-American actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger did truly establish himself as one of the megastars of Hollywood in what has been a `rags to riches` tale! For someone who was totally into bodybuilding winning titles such as `Mr.Universe` and `Mr. Olympia` at a very young age, Schwarzenegger has come a long way. Not only did he gain fame as bodybuilding`s biggest icon, but he also became a Hollywood action film icon.
The actor left a mark on the audience through his performance that complimented his well-chiseled body in the 1982 movie Conan the Barbarian. He never looked back ever since and went from strength to strength with his ring of successful movies like The Terminator (1984, 1991, 2003, 2009, 2015) series, Commando (1985), The Running Man (1987), Predator (1987), Twins (1988), Total Recall (1990), True Lies (1994) and Terminator: Dark Fate (2019).
Schwarzenegger later expanded his horizons and donned multiple hats including that of a filmmaker, businessman, author, activist, philanthropist, investor, and even a politician. He was even the Governor of California (for two terms) from 2003 to 2011.
