Arushi Sharma is an Indian actor born on January, 1st 1996 in New Delhi, India. Known mostly for her portrayal of Kartik Aaryan`s love interest in the 90s era in director Imtiaz Ali`s 2020 Romantic Drama Love Aaj Kal, Arushi had previously appeared in Imtiaz Ali`s Tamasha which had Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone playing the lead roles. In that film, the actress had portrayed the character of a school teacher Samyukta.

In Love Aaj Kal, she portrayed the role of Leena, a schoolgirl who grows up falling in love with Kartik Aaryan`s character and his cute behavior. The movie was the sequel of the 2009 movie of the same name starring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone which was a huge hit. The 2020 sequel portrayed the feeling of pure love that never changes, although the perspective of realizing one`s soulmate may change over time.
