About
An American comic strip and comic book writer, Bill Finger was best known as the person who co-wrote and conceptualized the DC character Batman, along with Bob Kane. He even came up with the name Bruce Wayne for the character and made significant contributions to the creation of the villain Joker. He also created a number of other characters like Green Lantern and wrote the original comics for it. Since he was working as a ghostwriter for Kane, Finger got his due recognition only years after his death in 1974. However, his legacy lives on in movies like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) and Justice League (2017).
