Bindu Madhavi is a South Indian actress and model, who primarily appears in Telugu and Tamil films. She is best known for her roles in movies like Veppam, Kazhugu, and Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam.

Early Life
Bindu was born on 14 June 1986 in Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh. Courtesy of her father`s job as a tax commissioner, she repeatedly moved from one city to another. After brief stints in Tirupati, Nellore, Guntur, Vijayawada, and Hyderabad, Bindu and her family settled in Chennai. In the year 2005, she graduated from Vellore Institute of Technology with a degree in Biotechnology. While studying, she began modeling for various organizations, starting with Saravana Stores. Although her family was against her going down the modeling and acting line, Bindu worked on her portfolio and was aided by celebrity photographer Venkat Ram.

Movie Career
Bindu Madhavi was spotted in a Tanishq jewelry advertisement by Telugu director Sekhar Kammula, who cast her in his 2008 film Avakai Biryani. The following year, she was seen in a supporting role by award-winning director Cheran, in his Tamil film Pokkisham. Over the next couple of years, she featured in Telugu movies like Bumper Offer, opposite Sairam Shankar, and Sriwass` Rama Rama Krishna Krishna. In 2011, Gautham Menon signed her on to portray the role of a sex worker in the Telugu film Veppam, which also starred Nani, Karthik Kumar, and Nithya Menen.

Bindu then began accepting roles in several Tamil films like the commercial hit Kazhugu, the comedy film Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga, and Desingu Raja, opposite Vimal. The actress then went on to appear in Tamil movies like Ponram`s box-office success Varutha Padatha Valibar Sangam and the 2015 comedy film Pasanga 2. Her 2016 releases include the horror-comedy Jackson Durai and Sreenath Raju`s Kalukkuray Maaplay.
