Donald Jay Rickles, known popularly as Don Rickles, was a legendary American stand-up comedian, writer and actor. From the time of his showbiz debut in the mid-1950s till his death in 2017, the celebrated showman entertained several generations through his stand-up acts and acting roles; earning the nicknames "The Merchant of Venom" and "Mr. Warmth" courtest of his biting wit and stature as an insult comic.

In 2008, Rickles won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Performance in a Variety or Music Program, for the documentary Mr. Warmth: The Don Rickles Project (2007). Notable television credits include The Don Rickles Show (1972), CPO Sharkey (1976-`78) and Daddy Dearest (1978). The war film Run Silent, Run Deep (1958), Kelly`s Heroes (1970), the crime film Casino (1995) and the Toy Story film franchise (1995-2019). Other significant acting credits include Toy Story 2 (1999), Toy Story 1 & 2 (2010), Toy Story 3 (2010), Joan Rivers: A Piece Of Work (2010) and Toy Story 4 (2019)
