Lalit Lad is an Indian writer who started off with the short film Chakkar Dot Com which was directed by Shaan I. Memon. He wrote the 2015 Gujarati Romantic Comedy Drama Chaki Kahe Chaka Jo Baka which was a film that revolved around urban youth and depicted the problems and confusions they face in real life. The film was directed by Utpal Modi and featured Nishith Brahmbhatt, Khyaati Madhoo, and Preyasi Naik in prominent roles. He also wrote the 2016 Gujarati film Kookh.
