Beginning his career in 2007 with the romantic movie, Happy Holidays, Ludwig Goransson is a Swedish composer who gained popularity for his work in several U.S. TV sitcoms like Happy Endings (2011-2013), Community (2009-2015), and New Girl (2011- ). In 2013 Goransson got his first big break with Ryan Coogler's acclaimed crime-drama, Fruitvale Station. The same year he also worked on the comedy hit, We're the Millers. Goransson's work include movies like Top Five (2014), The Town That Dreaded Sundown (2014), Stretch (2014), Creed (2015), Central Intelligence (2016), and Everything, Everything (2017). He also composed for TV shows like Playing House (2014-2017), Survivor's Remorse (2014- ), Satisfaction (2014-2015), Atlanta (2016- ) and Angie Tribeca (2016- ). Goransson has also signed a deal as a composer for Jay-Z's label, Roc Nation.
In 2018 Goransson served as the composer for Ryan Coogler's Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie, Black Panther. This is their third collaboration together. Later in the year Goransson will also compose for Eli Roth's Death Wish. The movie is a remake of the 1973 Charles Bronson starrer of the same name, which itself was based on a 1972 novel. His 2018 release includes Venom.
