Matilda Anna Ingrid Lutz, better known by her screen name Matilda Lutz is an Italian model and actress who is known for her work in the Italian TV and film industries. The actress made her debut in Hollywood with the supernatural psychological horror film Rings (2017), which is the third feature- length film in the Ring franchise.

Early Life
Born in Milan, Italy, Lutz is the daughter of the Maria Licci and Elliston Lutz. The actress has an elder brother named Martin Perry Lutz and a young half-brother, Alexey Lutz.

Movie Career
Matilda Lutz started her acting career with the short film, The Lost Scent In D Mirror before making her debut on the silver screen with the Italian film Azzurrina in 2012. Following her debut, the actress subsequently worked in films like Somewhere Beautiful (2014) an independent feature film that was showcased at the Sao Paulo International Film Festival in 2014 and L’Universale (2016), an Italian comedy film directed by Federico Micali. She got her major breakthrough in Hollywood as she starred in the supernatural psychological horror film, Rings (2017), which is the third installment in the Ring franchise. The film directed by F. Javier Gutierrez also features Alex Roe, Johnny Galecki, Vincent D’Onofrio and Bonnie Morgan in pivotal role. Her other release of the year includes The Divorce Party, an American comedy film directed by Hughes William Thompson.

TV Career
Matilda Lutz made her debut in the TV industry with an appearance in the single episode of the Italian series, Crossing Lines in 2013. She subsequently played the lead role as Barbara Pinaider in Fuoriclasse, an Italian series set in high school. The series directed by Riccardo Donna was loosely based on the book by Domenico Starnone.
