Prateik Babbar, the son of actor Raj Babbar and late actress Smita Patil, is an Indian actor who is best known for his work in the Hindi film industry. He made his feature film debut with the coming of age romantic drama Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na, for which he won a Filmfare Special Jury Award and a Stardust Award for Breakthrough Performance.

His notable film credits include the critically acclaimed drama film Dhobi Ghaat (2011), Dum Maro Dum (2011), Aarakshan (2011) and Ekk Deewana Tha (2012). The actor made his Bengali film debut in 2017, with the drama Aroni Tokhon. In 2018, he starred in Ahmed Khan`s Baaghi 2 and Anubhav Sinha`s Mulk. His other releases include Chhichhore (2019), #Yaaram (2019) and Darbar (2020). His 2021 releases include Mumbai Saga.
