Rajasekhar is an Indian movie actor who is predominantly known for his work in Telugu movies and television. He started his career with the 1984 movie Pudhumai Penn, under the direction of Bharathiraja, starring Pandiyan and Revathi. He was seen in several films such as Repati Pourulu (1986), America Abbayi (1987), Station Master (1988), Balarama Krishnulu (1992) and Raja Simham (1995). He starred in the lead role in the 1990 film Magaadu, under the direction of K. Madhu, which won him the Filmfare Award for Best Actor - Telugu. He also won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor - Telugu for the 1994 action film Anna starring him in the lead role opposite Gautami and Roja. He played the role of a rough and macho college rowdy in Seshu (2002) and starred in Satyameva Jayate (2009) opposite Shivaji, Sai Kiran and Neetu Chandra.
