Rohan Shankar is an Indian screenwriter who is known for his work in Marathi and Hindi cinema. He first rose to prominence when he penned the critically acclaimed Marathi slice-of-life comedy-drama Lalbaugchi Rani (2016), which was directed by Laxman Utekar.

In 2019, Rohan served as a writer for the Bollywood film Luka Chuppi, which also marked his second straight collaboration with cinematographer-turned-filmmaker Laxman Utekar. Touted as a romantic comedy, Luka Chuppi starred Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan in the lead roles. His other releases include Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari, directed by Abhishek Sharma, Saiyaara (2025).
