A popular and an influential media personality in Australia, Ruby Rose Langenheim, better known by her screen name, Rube Rose is a model, recording artist, TV presenter and actress. Rose grabbed the media attention as the presenter on MTV Australia and later gained global fame and recognition through her modeling assignments.

Early Life
Born in Melbourne, Rose was raised by her 20-year-old single mother, Katia Langenheim who worked as an artist. Owing to her mother’s work, as a child, Rose traveled quite frequently and she lived in several places including rural Tasmania, Surfers Paradise, and Victoria before eventually settling down in Melbourne. The actress completed her school from Footscray City College and University High School.
Personal Life
Rose discovered her sexual preference as being a lesbian at the age of 12. The actress-cum-model announced her engagement to Phoebe Dahl, the granddaughter of the popular Welsh author Roald Dahl in 2014. The relationship, however, did not last long and the duo parted ways in December 2015. One year later, Rose started dating Jessica Origliasso, an Australian singer, songwriter, actress and fashion designer. The two have been together since October 2016.
Movie Career
After making her debut on the big screen with a small role in the Australian film, Suite for Fleur, the actress got her major breakthrough in the film industry as she starred in the 2013 Australian drama film Around the Block. The film featuring an ensemble cast including
Christina Ricci, Hunter Page-Lochard, and Jack Thomson was directed by Sarah Spillane. Although the film got mixed critical reviews, Rose for her brilliant performance got much appreciation.
After a successful start to her career in the Australian film industry, the actress ventured out to work as a voice artist in the animated film Sheep & Wolves (2016) directed by Andrey Galat and Maxim Volkov. The same year, Rose played the role of Abigail in the sci-fi action film

TV Career
Ruby Rose started her career in front of the camera as a VJ; she hosted a show on MTV Australia. She started off in 2007 and continued to be associated with the channel till 2011. In 2008 she made a guest appearance in the Australian satirical game show, Good News Week. During her time at MTV Australia, the actress featured as a co-host and judge of one of the popular reality talent shows, Australia’s Next Top Model in 2009. The same year, she also co-hosted a red carpet event, MTV Australia Awards 2009.
In 2010, Rose hosted the Vancouver Winter Olympics for Foxtel. After almost five years of work in the TV industry, she had established as one of the most prolific TV presenters but it was her role in the American comedy-drama web TV series that is regarded as her best TV performance. The series, which received six Golden Globe and six Writers Guild of America Award nominations was created by Jenji Kohan. Rose had a recurring role in the third and fourth seasons of the series. Her other popular TV appearance includes a guest appearance in Conan, an American late-night talk show which is aired on TBS.
Music Career
Ruby Rose has had an affinity for music since her childhood. In January 2012, the actress collaborated with Gary Go and released her first single titled Guilty Pleasure. Four years later, she released and directed a song titled On Your Side for the popular band The Veronicas’.
