Best remembered for his portrayal of Dominic Toretto in The Fast and The Furious series, Vin Diesel is an American actor and producer. Few of his other memorable roles are in

xXx series. Apart from being an actor and producer, Diesel has also written and directed few short films such as Multi-Facial, Strays, and Los Bandoleros. The multiple time People Choice Award-winning actor has also voiced for the titular character in
The Iron Giant in 1999 and the character of Groot in the 2014 superhero movie
Guardians of the Galaxy.
The actor has also founded production companies such as One Race Films, which has other subsidiary companies such as Racetrack Records, a music label, and Tigon Studios, a video game developing company.
Early Life
Born as Mark Sinclair on July 18, 1967, in the Alameda County of California, USA Diesel has a twin brother named Paul. His mother Delora Sherleen is an astrologer while his adoptive father, Irving Vincent, was an acting instructor and theatre manager. Diesel has two other siblings apart from twin brother, Samantha Vincent, a film producer, and Tim Vincent.
Diesel was first introduced to acting at the age of seven when he performed on stage in a play called Dinosaur Door at the Theatre for New City. Following this, he continued to be a part of theatre. He went on to study creative writing at the Hunter College, New York, where he graduated with a major in English. While still in college, he began screenwriting. At the age of 17, Diesel worked as a bouncer at a number of nightclubs in New York, owing to his well-built physique, where he took on the name of Vin Diesel.

The Fast and The Furious in 2001, Diesel started dating his co-star
Michelle Rodriguez. However, their relationship did not last very long. Following his rather short-term relationship with Rodriguez, Diesel started dating Mexican model Paloma Jimenez in 2007. A year into their relationship, the two welcomed their first child Hania Riley in 2008. The couple has two other children together; a son, Vincent Sinclair, and a daughter, Pauline, who was named in memory of Diesel`s very good friend and The Fast and The Furious co-star

Vin Diesel`s first appearance at the movies came with an uncredited role in the 1990 film Awakenings. Following his uncredited debut, he starred in the 1994 short film Multi-Facial, which he also wrote for and directed. The movie was screened at the Cannes Festival in 1995, where it received positive reviews. Next, in 1997, he again starred in his directorial venture
Strays, which screened at the 1997 Sundance Film Festival and was well-received by the audience. It was his work in the short film Multi-Facial that helped him grab a role in
Steven Spielberg`s Oscar Award-winning war drama
Saving Private Ryan in 1998.
