Begum Para, born on 25th December 1926, in Punjab, British India, was an Indian film actress. She was active mostly in the 1940s and 1950s. She made a comeback , after 50 years, with her last role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya (2007) as Sonam Kapoor's grandmother. She was married to actor Nasir Khan, the younger brother of Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar and had three children, including the actor Ayub Khan.
