Cinco Paul is an American screenwriter, producer, and actor who is best known for writing the screenplay for the Despicable Me film series. Paul who started his career in the film industry as an actor made his debut as a writer of a feature film with Cats Don’t Dance (1997). He subsequently worked as a writer for films like The Santa Clause 2 (2002), Horton Hears a Who! (2008), The Secret Life of Pets (2016), and Despicable Me 3 (2017). Apart from writing Paul has also produced several short videos and feature films including The Lorax (2012). He has also starred in films like Dude, Where’s My Car? (2000), and Bubble Boy (2001).
