Gaurav Chatnekar is an Indian actor popularly known for his work the Marathi film and television industry. After his graduation, Gaurav enrolled at the Whistling Woods International Film Institute and soon joined the drama group of one of the veteran actors of Indian cinema, Naseeruddin Shah. Gaurav made his TV debut with the Marathi show Tujvin Sakhya Re and has also done several English plays.

In 2016, he appeared in the movie Tujhi Majhi Love Story alongside actress Shruti Marathe, his future wife. In the same year, he also starred in the movie Vazandar featuring Sai Tamhankar and Priya Bapat in the lead roles. The actor has also appeared in the TV show Runji and essayed the character of Lord Krishna in the popular Hindi show titled Dharamkshetra. His 2017 release includes the Marathi comedy movie Kaay Re Raascalaa directed by Giridharan Swamy.
