Standup Comedian, actress, voice actress, and author Jenny Slate is best known for her role as Mona Lisa Saperstein on the satire Parks and Recreation (2009), and the co-creator for the animated series Marcel the Shell with Shoes On along with a children`s book by the same name.

Starting her career with standup, Jenny was the half of the comedy duo Gabe & Jenny, which was dubbed as the best new variety show of 2008 by Time Out New York. A cast member of the widely popular Saturday Night Live in the 2009-2010 season, she was a frequent character on Jimmy Kimmel Live as well.

Her other notable work includes Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked (2011), Obvious Child (2014), Brain On Fire (2016) before she was a part of Hotel Artemis (2018). She has also lent her voice to various memorable characters in animation films like Zootopia, The Secret Life of Pets, Despicable Me 3, The Lorax, Venom and The Secret Life of Pets 2 are among others.
