Entering the industry in 2011 with thriller, Amber Lake, Joe Robert Cole is an American writer, director, actor and producer. He wrote and directed Amber Lake with Carmen Argenziano, Mekenna Melvin and Natalie Smyka in the lead roles. In 2014 Cole made his debut as an actor with director Ryan Fox`s White Dwarf. Cole turned co-producer with the 2016 TV series, American Crime Story (2016- ). Later on he also served as a writer on the show. Cole got his biggest break when he was approached to co-write the screenplay with Ryan Coogler for a Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movie. In 2018 Black Panther materialised with Chadwick Boseman playing T`Challa a.k.a. Black Panther. The rest of the cast includes Lupita Nyong`o, Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker, Martin Freeman, Angela Bassett, and Andy Serkis in pivotal roles.
