One of the most prolific film composers of America, Mark Isham is a trumpeter and synthesist. Isham has worked in a variety of genres from jazz to electronic. Some of the popular films that he has worked on include Of Mice and Men (1992), Blade (1998), Rules of Engagement (2000), Crash (2004), Reservation Road (2007), Beauty and the Beast (2012) and The Accountant (2016). Isham has also released several studio albums such as Vapor Drawings (1983), Castalia (1988), Mark Isham (1990) and Bittersweet (2009). In 2017, he worked on the soundtrack of the movie Megan Leavey directed Gabriela Cowperthwaite. His 2019 release includes A Dogs Journey, directed by Gail Mancuso. His other releases include Bill & Ted Face the Music (2020), Honest Thief (2020) and Judas and the Black Messiah (2021).
