Paul Mayeda Berges is an American screenwriter, producer and director who started his career as a writer with What's Cooking? (2000). His other notable film credits include Bend It Like Beckham? (2002), The Mistress of Spices (2005), It's a Wonderful Afterlife (2010), and Viceroy's House (2017), a British-Indian historical drama directed by Gurinder Chadha.
